Properties: A slight odour, non-poisonous. Initial melting point over 96?, relative density 1.31-1.34. Soluble in benzene, methyl benzene, chloroform, carbon disulfide, carbon tetrachloride, methylene chloride, acetone and methyl acetate; not easily soluble in methyl alcohol; insoluble in water, dilute acid, dilute alkali and gasoline.

Application: CZ(CBS) is an accelerator with high activity and greatly delayed action. Mainly used in manufacture of tires, rubber shoes, rubber goods.
